Free scans: HitmanPro 3 offers unlimited free scans. If your PC is clean, you don't need a license. If malware is found, you can activate a free 30-day license to remove it or buy a full license to keep your PC protected.
Cloud scans: HitmanPro 3 automatically uploads suspicious or unknown files to its Cloud Scan to be analyzed in real time.
Effective: Our first scan took just under two minutes and found toolbars and other software that, if not dangerous, were nevertheless unwelcome and a potential nuisance. After activation, HitmanPro 3 automatically created a system restore point, deleted our choices, and finished with a log file.
Cons
Best option: While each PC's security situation is different, experts differ on whether multiple tools, like antivirus software with HitmanPro 3, outperform similarly priced all-in-one security suites, or offer better value.
